Video: Peter Jinkens does the ‘Ric Flair’ in Texas huddle

Regardless of whether you are a fan of professional wrestling or not, you know who Ric Flair is. He is easily one of the most recognizable names and faces in all of sports entertainment and he has influenced an absolutely amazing movement within the collegiate athletics world.

There have been many videos circulating of college athletes reciting Flair’s famous promo that he does to pump both the crowd and himself up before snatching his blazer off and elbow dropping it in the middle of the ring.

Most recently, Texas linebacker Peter Jinkens performed the promo in the middle of a huddle of teammates to pump them up before practice.

He certainly did it justice.

How can you not be pumped after watching that? Maybe Jinkens should be the designated hype man for the entirety of the 2015 season.

If you are going to emulate a professional athlete, Flair is certainly a great one. He is a sixteen-time World Champion, which is a record that has stood since 2000.

Jinkens will have to do his best to pump up his teammates when the roll into South Bend on September 5 to play Notre Dame.
