Texas A&M gets commitment from top 2017 dual-threat QB

The Texas A&M Aggies have sure been gaining a host of talented quarterbacks. Entering the 2015 season, the team has a choice of either Kyle Allen, who came on strong for the team last season as a freshman, and top dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2015 Kyler Murray.

It looks like the team could even have an answer at quarterback for after Murray and Allen have moved on.

The top ranked dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2017 Tate Martell announced his commitment to the Aggies via Twitter late Thursday evening.

The five-foot-eleven signal caller from Bishop Gorman School in Las Vegas, Nevada has already been hailed for his athletic ability. He has been bringing in comparisons to a former Heisman Trophy winning quarterback in College Station.

I don’t know about you, but from an athletic standpoint, being compared to Johnny Manziel is pretty impressive. It looks like there could be a pretty big quarterback battle once Martell gets to campus in two years.

Martell is currently ranked at the number one dual-threat quarterback and the twelfth-ranked overall prospect in the nation for the class of 2017.
