Video: Kansas’s practice from a QB’s point of view

The Kansas Jayhawks’ football team hasn’t been back to a bowl game since 2008 and since then, the team has struggled to get back to the prominence of being a contender in the Big 12. They are surely working their way back into football relevancy and the first way they are doing so is giving fans a look into their practice from a quarterback’s point of view.

College Football Talk shared a video of Kansas quarterback Keaton Perry with a GoPro action camera strapped to his helmet. The footage showed what it’s like to be a college quarterback and it was pretty awesome.

Perry is one of the quarterbacks competing for the starting job this season, so it was pretty cool to see what he goes through to get to the top of the depth chart. I don’t know if this video did anything to help the Jayhawks get back into the premiere of college football, but it was a cool way to try and bring more fans to the games this year.

The Jayhawks open the season on September 5 when they host South Dakota State.
