The East Tennessee State Buccaneers have been fairly this summer. Head coach Steve Forbes has just received his third transfer this offseason and it comes in the form of former Missouri and Baylor guard Deuce Bello.
According to College Basketball Talk, Bello decided to start his career over once again at the Southern Conference school. Because of his transfer to a lower-classification school, Bello will be eligible to play in the 2015-16 season.
Bello joins Cincinnati guard Ge’Lawn Guyn and Indiana center Hanner Mosquera-Perea as transfers to ETSU. Mosquera-Perea must sit out this season, but Guyn will join Bello with immediate eligibility.
Last season, Bello averaged only 1.8 points and 1 rebound per game last season for the Tigers, but he will surely be able to make a bigger impact for the Buccaneers this season. He will have to do a lot this season to live up to his four-star rating in high school as Bellow was ranked as the 54th player in the country in the class of 2011 for the Bears.
The Buccaneers open the season on November 17 against Green Bay as part of the NIT Season Tip-Off.
