Arkansas Razorbacks running back Jonathan Williams had season-ending foot surgery just last week and it was a pretty tough thing for him to deal with. He probably received tons of support from his friends, family, teammates and coaches, but I can bet he never expected to get what he did Friday morning.
According to Saturday Down South, SEC commissioner Greg Sankey sent Williams a hand-written letter wishing him good luck in his recovery and rehab processes. Williams was obviously appreciative of the gesture and he showed that by posting his gratitude on Twitter.

It was rumored earlier this week that Williams would enter the 2016 NFL Draft following his recovery process. If there is one way for him to consider staying in college, it’s receiving a hand-written letter from the commissioner.
For now, the Razorbacks are going to have to make due with Alex Collins, who in 2014 rushed for over 1,000 yards as did Williams. The team will have to wait to see if this powerful duo will be back together for one more year in 2016.
