The Utah Utes are a rapidly improving program and last week’s big win over the Michigan Wolverines once again proved that the future is bright in Salt Lake City.
On Friday night when the Utes host the Utah State Aggies at Rice-Eccles Stadium, the Utes will be wearing uniforms inspired by one of their most recognizable alum, former All-Pro running back Jamal Anderson, who played for the Atlanta Falcons from 1994-2001.
The Utes tweeted out a look at their “Dirty Bird inspired” unis that follow the same color scheme and look of the Falcons.

Utah always has some of the nicer uniforms in all of college football, but the alternating colors that emulate the recognizeable Atlanta look is a very nice touch.
While Anderson may no longer be with the Falcons, the Utes tradition is being carried on in Atlanta by starting defensive tackle Paul Soliai.
Utah and Utah State take the field tonight at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN 2.
