Desmond Howard booed by MSU fans at College Gameday

I’d say that Michigan State fans are still pretty salty when it comes to a former Michigan Heisman Trophy winner. The College Gameday crewed rolled into East Lansing and when Chris Fowler did his introductions, the crowd was rather sedated.

That is, until he got to Desmond Howard.

ESPN had the video of Howard getting booed off nearly off the stage. You can’t really blame them for being just a little upset with the 1991 Heisman winner. He did kind of run all over the Spartans then.

It didn’t just stop there. Every time he talked, the fans booed him. I can only imagine what happens if he picks Oregon to win.

It will be a long time before Spartan fans ever accept Howard, if that ever happens. It’s going to be a great game, regardless of who Howard and the rest of the crew pick to win.
