A minor brawl broke out between two players during the Cincinnati Bengals and Oakland Raiders as veteran defensive back Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones bolted rookie wide receiver Amari Cooper to the turf, straddling his body over Cooper as Pacman started lunging his fists at Cooper’s head. Withholding the urge to fight back, Amari laid there defenseless as players watched onward, but officials stepped in to save the day.

Pacman Jones’ NFL career has been afflicted several times by altercations with other players along with off-the-field debauchery, but to target a helpless individual, let alone a rookie, speaks very lowly of Pacman’s character and self-discipline.
No word on whether Pacman Jones was ejected, or even warned, but fingers are crossed that Goodell handles this appropriately as the former West Virginia Mountaineer will most likely receive a bill in the mail from the league on this unnecessary roughness.
Nearing the end of the first half, Amari Cooper has two receptions for 30 yards as Cincinnatti leads the Raiders, 17-0, on Jeremy Hill’s two rushing touchdowns on nine attempts.
