Marco Rubio trolls Florida State again

|

I don’t think the Florida State Seminoles really needed another reason to hate the Florida Gators, but Republican Presidential candidate hopeful Marco Rubio keeps giving them reasons to do so. Last week, he took a shot at the university by saying that FSU is the school where people who can’t get into Florida go.

Last night at the second Republican Debate, he kept digging his grave further and further downward. According to College Spun, Rubio was asked about his Secret Service codename if he were elected President. It’s pretty obvious where this is going, but what the heck?

I’m all for Rubio bringing in college football rivalries to a usually mundane debate, but this probably isn’t the smartest idea for him to be doing this. The whole point of these debates is getting people to like him right?

While the Gator fan base is behind him, I know a lot of Seminole fans who will probably be voting Democratic if Rubio somehow makes it on the ballot.
