Walmart has been long known for the go-to super retail store for many middle-class people. A lot of the times, you can go in there and just look at the way some people are dressed and have good time laughing.
However, one thing the store usually does right is pandering to the college and professional football fans in the area…usually. One Walmart in Orlando messed up royally when it comes to the Central Florida football team.
According to Orlando Weekly, the Walmart on Colonial Drive in Orlando made a big mistake by putting shirts on the shelf that read “UFC Knights.” Central Florida is traditionally known as UCF. UFC, as most know, stands for Ultimate Fighting Championship, the MMA promotion.
I’m not sure how many people will buy this shirt, but it will probably be a collector’s item soon. It should also be marked WAY down for the mistake.
On the other hand, UFC Knights would be an awesome name for a MMA stable led by Conor McGregor.
