Video: C.J. Prosise caps off big day with 91-yard TD run

In the opening game of the season, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish lost running back Tarean Folston for the season after he injured his knee. After today’s big win over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, it’s hard to believe that they don’t have a great replacement.

C.J. Prosise had a huge day for the Irish as he went for nearly 200 yards on the ground while adding three touchdowns. None of his trips to the endzone were bigger than the 91-yard run that sealed the win for the Irish as they led the game 23-7.

That impressive touchdown essentially closed the game for the Irish as he pushed the score to 30-7. The Irish moved to 3-0 on the season and are looking like a big threat for the College Football Playoff right now.

Prosise finished the day with 198 yards and three scores. His teammates were pretty excited for him.

The Irish next play the Massachusetts Minutemen on Saturday September 26 before they have another big ACC matchup with the Clemson Tigers in Death Valley.
