It’s no secret that Fox Sports’s Colin Cowherd is not much of a fan of the SEC. He has been very outspoken about how they haven’t been as impressive as in years past.
On Saturday, he again trashed the SEC after Auburn’s poor performance in their matchup with the LSU Tigers. According to College Spun, Cowherd called the SEC “overrated.”
So Auburn is now officially terrible. Can I have the updated list of SEC teams that aren't overrated.

The Auburn Tigers along with the Arkansas Razorbacks were both ranked pretty high in the Top 25 to begin the season. It’s pretty clear that they were both “overrated” as one is out of the Top 25 and another may be on its way out. However, you still have to look at how the cream of the crop in the SEC has performed so far, especially LSU and Ole Miss.
There’s pretty much no doubt that the SEC is going to be represented in the College Football Playoff this year, but if you ask Cowherd, he would certainly give his vote to someone else.
