The Cal Golden Bears picked up a huge win over the Texas Longhorns on Saturday. Their big win was thanks mostly in part to quarterback Jared Goff’s electric performance. During the game, Goff made a little bit of Cal team history on the day.
According to Fox Sports, Goff, who threw for 268 yards and three touchdowns, set all-time records for passing yards, completions, and total offense. The new records are 8,379 passing yards, 8,266 yards of total offense, and 704 completions. Goff could have seemed more excited about history.

The Golden Bears did beat the Longhorns, but only because their kicker missed an extra point to tie the game. The final score was 45-44 in favor of Cal.
This Golden Bears’ team is something special and their success for the rest of the season rests on the shoulders of Goff.
