The Marshall Thundering Herd are currently 2-1 and they have had plenty of reason to celebrate this season. Last Saturday, before their crushing defeat of Norfolk State, a former quarterback gave his team and family another reason to celebrate.
According to College Spun, Joe Browning, who played quarterback for the Herd in 2001, was attending a tailgate party at the game before the game last Saturday. He was asked about the party and how he thought the game was going to swing. He shocked everyone by taking a huge step in his life.
Of course, she said yes. I mean, how could she say so with a news camera right in her face. I don’t think she would have said no, however.
Congratulations, guys! I’m sure they will be even happier at the next tailgate. The Herd next play at home when they host Old Dominion in the Conference USA opener.
