Cardale Jones has once again been named the Ohio State Buckeyes’ starting quarterback for Week 4. While that decision seems to have alienated some of the Buckeye faithful, Jones is doing all he can to get in good faith with his teammates to show them that he can perform well if they believe in him.
According to College Spun, Jones is starting with the most important part to his performance: the offensive line. He bought the guys personalized wristbands that read “SLOBS” and their jersey number on them.

What a nice way to show his appreciation for the big guys up front. It’s almost obligated that he treats them nicely if he doesn’t want to get pulverized all game long.
The Buckeyes welcome in Western Michigan on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and if they want to avoid having another fiasco like last week against Northern Illinois, Jones and the offensive line need to be on the same page.
