Grammar is a relatively easy thing. However, there seems to be a problem with it being used correctly today, especially when it comes to the world of social media. College football players are some of the worst when it comes to bad grammar.
Last week, Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott asked out Taylor Swift on Twitter and he immediately began getting heat from people all over the social media platform. It wasn’t because Elliott was distracted by trying to woo a megastar like Swift, but it was because of his terrible grammar in the tweet.
@taylorswift13 I see your in town tonight want to grab something to eat after their concert ? 😊

Now, I am a huge stickler for grammar as I am getting a minor in linguistics, but I blew this one off simply because of who Elliott is and the fact that football players don’t have to be correct.
Fox Sports’s Clay Travis on the other hand was not so forgiving. College Spun shared the video of Travis ripping the Buckeyes and their fans for their poor grammar.

Travis seems to be trying way too hard to be Jack Douglas from the popular YouTube channel Jacksfilms and his video series “Your Grammar Sucks”.
