Florida DT Caleb Brantley criticizes the equipment staff

When it comes to football, every little piece of the puzzle is very important. Whether it’s the starting quarterback, the head coach, or the waterboy, every piece must work together in order to be successful.

One very important piece of the team is one that doesn’t ever even see the field. You can’t play football without a ball and you certainly can’t play it with out pads. That’s why the equipment staff is very important.

According to College Spun, Florida defensive tackle Caleb Brantley doesn’t think his team’s staff is very good. He sent out, and then promptly deleted, a tweet that was very critical of the team’s staff on Friday afternoon.

That surely isn’t going to sit well with Brantley’s coaching staff. He has already been in some hot water with the team after he was cited for walking out on a bill at a restaurant in July.

There’s no guarantee that Brantley will see any kind of repercussions because of his comments, but there’s no doubt that the coaches have surely seen it. If running back Kelvin Taylor was bumped down to the third string for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, I can only imagine what will happen to Brantley.
