Late last week, Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones was frustrated with his status on the Buckeyes’ depth chart. He took to his Twitter and changed his biography to read “2nd string” after he was benched for J.T. Barrett in the team’s 20-13 win over Northern Illinois.
Jones was pretty displeased with himself for doing something like that, especially after he was named the team’s starter and performed very well against Western Michigan. According to College Spun, Jones told Ben Axelrod of Bleacher Report that he was feeling pretty crappy after he realized his mistake.
Cardale Jones on changing his Twitter bio last weekend: "It was childish and I shouldn't have done it. Flat out."

Jones played most of the game on Saturday and he finished much better than in weeks past. He was 18-33 with 288 yards and two touchdowns against an early first quarter interception as the Buckeyes went on to win 38-12.
The Buckeyes’ offense is looking to be back on track and they will need stay the course as they hit the road to play the undefeated Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday.
