After their dismal showing against the Dallas Cowboys last week, the Philadelphia Eagles seem to be back on the right track against the New York Jets. Quarterback Sam Bradford threw his first touchdown pass since the third quarter of their Week 1 game against the Atlanta Falcons.
The strike was absolutely beautiful as he hit running back Ryan Matthews who was streaking down the sideline. He caught it and did the rest for the 24-yard touchdown. That pushed the score to 17-0 and the Eagles now lead the Jets 24-7 at the half.
If the Eagles had played like this in their first two games of the season, they could possibly be looking at 3-0 record right now. Chip Kelly is going to need Bradford to continue throwing like this if they want to be successful.
