Michael Jordan is easily one of the greatest basketball players in the history of the NBA and some even consider him the best. Jordan set just about every record possible during his time with the Chicago Bulls and one just went down to another great player.
During the team’s 115-113 win over the Toronto Raptors, shooting guard Jimmy Butler broke the Bulls’ record for most points in a half as he threw down 40 in the second half. Jordan previously held the record with 39 scored in a single half and ESPNChicago.com’s Nick Friedell reported the new via Twitter.

Butler finished the game with 42 points, which makes this stat even more phenomenal. The fifth-year guard out of Marquette was averaging 21.1 points on the season entering the game.
