One year later, Stuart Scott’s daughters write him a love letter

One year ago today, the sports world lost one of its greatest names as former SportsCenter personality Stuart Scott passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer. It was certainly an emotional day for all sports fans across the country and since then he has been heralded as one of the most iconic voices in all of sports.

SportsCenter honored him on their Monday morning show with an emotional video package that talked about his daughters, Taelor and Sydni, writing a love letter for Scott.

The package opened up with Scott’s speech at the 2014 ESPYs, where he won the Jimmy V Perserverance Award, that was almost a goodbye to his daughters, as if he knew his time on this world was almost up.

That is certainly an emotional video for anyone to watch. It’s hard to believe that Scott left this world a year ago and he will always be remembered as one of the most iconic names in ESPN’s history.
