The West Virginia Mountaineers didn’t finish the season like they would have hoped as they went 7-5 after a loss to Kansas State in their regular season finale. Despite that, the Mountaineers did pull off a big win in the Motel 6 Cactus Bowl over Arizona State.
Their defense was a big part of their success during the 2015 season and they will be losing one of the biggest for the 2016 season. Cornerback Daryl Worley announced Sunday night that he would be entering the 2016 NFL Draft.

Worley had his best season yet in 2015 as he recorded 49 tackles, six interceptions, and two forced fumbles. Right now, Worley is projected as a late round pick, but he could certainly improve that stock through the combine.
