The Clemson Tigers have been one of the best teams of the 2015 college football season. They are the only undefeated team in the country and they will be playing for their first national championship since 1981.
However, one television station in Kansas City made a pretty big mistake when talking about the College Football Playoff championship game on Monday, January 11. Not only did they say that Clemson and Alabama in the Fiesta Bowl, which already took place last Friday, they used the wrong logo for the ACC champions.
They used a Tigers’ logo, but it was Fort Hays State’s logo, not Clemson. The Division II football program in Hays, Kansas pointed out the mistake to the television station.
Didn't realize we were playing in the Fiesta Bowl as well… #oops #notClemson #wronglogo pic.twitter.com/V3bg6Sczw0

While Fort Hays had a terrific 8-4 season, they did not make the Fiesta Bowl, unfortunately for them. That’s a pretty big mistake for this station to make and they apologized for it later.
We are so very sorry for the logo error @forthaysstate We are more sorry that you aren't playing in the Fiesta Bowl!

It’s pretty funny to think that this station forgot that Clemson is purple and orange, not black and yellow.
