Minor league hockey team to honor Don Cherry with awesome jerseys

Don Cherry was one of the better hockey players during his time in the league. However, since his retirement, he has served as television commentator and is known for his ridiculous suit jackets.

One minor league hockey team will be honoring the legendary commentator soon. The Toledo Walleye will wear Cherry-inspired jerseys in their matchup with the Kalamazoo Wings on January 23 and they are pretty amazing.

If that isn’t the coolest thing you have ever seen, then consider the jerseys the Walleye wore earlier this season that celebrated the anniversary of the Nintendo Entertainment System and had an 8-bit Mario theme to them.
