UCLA head coach Jim Mora has been rumored for the last month to be a possible candidate for NFL coaching positions. That comes as no surprise as he has had separate stints with the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks.
On Thursday, he joined the “Petros and Money Show” and was asked about those potential rumors. He said that his job with the Bruins is pretty safe and that he isn’t going anywhere at this point.
“I’ve never really wavered,” Mora said. “It’s interesting that people question that still.
…
“I think it’s flattering not only to me, but to our program, that rumors are out there. But at the same time, they’re just rumors.”
Earlier this week, it was also reported that UCLA offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone had accepted the same position at Texas A&M. It was later reported by multiple sources that those were just rumors and nothing was final.

Mora was also asked about Mazzone and he refuted the rumors of him leaving for the Aggies.
“There is no confirmed validity to the rumor that Noel is leaving,” Mora said. “He may, but he may not. I would hope that by the end of the day, we’ll know one way or the other.”
It certainly looks like both Mora and Mazzone will be sticking around with the Bruins for at least the 2016 season.
