Clemson RB Wayne Gallman appears to be returning for 2016 season

While Deshaun Watson and Shaq Lawson were two of the biggest names on the Clemson Tigers this year, running back Wayne Gallman quietly had one of the more impressive seasons.

The redshirt sophomore was eligible for this year’s draft, but it does not appear that he’s ready to leave the Clemson program just yet. With the Jan. 18 deadline rapidly approaching, it looks like like Gallman isn’t going anywhere except back to school for the 2016 season.

During the 2015 season, Gallman rushed for 1,514 yards, second in the ACC behind Florida State’s Dalvin Cook, 13 touchdowns, and caught 22 passes for 226 yards and a touchdown.

With Watson and Gallman both returning in 2016, this could be another huge year for the Clemson Tigers.
