A new regime has began in Athens as new Georgia head coach Kirby Smart has officially taken over the Bulldogs’ program. They are excited for the future of their program, but they will move forward without a big member of their 2016 recruiting class.
Four-star wide receiver Devonta Smith announced on Thursday that he was de-committing from Georgia, which opens his recruitment back up for the Alabama Crimson Tide and LSU Tigers.

The six-foot-one, 155-pound receiver from Amite, Louisiana is the number 14-ranked receiver in the country and the number-four overall player in the state. 247Sports’ Crystal Ball currently has him projected to end up at Alabama by 70 percent.
