On Friday, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown was ruled out for their AFC Divisional Round game against the Denver Broncos. Last week, Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones promised he would apologize to Brown for his comments after the game if he was ruled out of this weekend’s game.
Jones lived up to his word and did just that on Friday. He posted a video to his Instagram account apologizing to the concussed receiver.
“AB – My apology, my brother,” Jones said. “I’m a man of my word. I’ve been doing a little traveling so that’s why it took so long. But I apologize, sincerely. Get well.”
That shows that Jones does truly have a little class in him. It’s a pretty tough thing to admit you were wrong, especially after being eliminated from the playoffs.
Earlier on Friday, Jones was fined $28,940 for contacting an official after the play on which Brown was injured.
