Whether Marshawn Lynch decides to retire or is cut from the team, It is pretty clear that the running back will not be in Seattle for the 2016 season. He dealt with injuries all season long and when he did play, Lynch didn’t produce like he has in past seasons.
It looks like Lynch could be actually considering retirement after Seahawks General Manager John Schneider appeared on ESPN Friday morning. He talked about Lynch and his future with the team and in the NFL and fans could be getting some pretty shocking news.
John Schneider on ESPN Seattle on Marshawn Lynch: "I'm under the impression he is leaning towards retirement.''

Lynch, who came into the league in 2007 with the Buffalo Bills, just wrapped up his ninth, and statistically worst, season of his career. He only appeared in eight games and rushed for 437 yards and three touchdowns, including a 20 yard showing against the Carolina Panthers last week in the NFC Divisional Round of the playoffs.
There has been talks of Lynch being a free agent going into the 2016 offseason, so it would not be surprising if he did hang up his clears for good.
