Veteran NFL coach calls Jake Rudock ‘sleeper’ QB in the 2016 NFL Draft

There are a number of talented quarterbacks in the 2016 NFL Draft this year and at least three are expected to be selected in the first round. One quarterback has been gaining more attention the last few weeks and it looks like we could have a dark horse come April.

According to FOX Sports’ Bruce Feldman, one long-time NFL offensive coach believes that former Iowa and Michigan quarterback Jake Rudock should be getting a lot more plug for the Draft. He even went so far as to compare him to Cincinnati Bengals’ quarterback Andy Dalton.

Rudock started off rough in the 2015 season, but he turned things around and had an impressive year. He ended the year with 3,017 yards passing and 20 touchdowns against nine interceptions, while rushing for 166 yards and four scores.

Right now, Rudock isn’t expected to be drafted, according to CBS Sports. However, if he can have a good combine and pro day, we could be looking at the next improbable career from a Michigan quarterback.
