This past Friday, the Cleveland Cavaliers became the best team in NBA history to ever fire their head coach midseason. The team was 30-11 and at the top of the Eastern Conference when they inexplicably fired David Blatt.
The Cavs went on to a 96-83 loss to the Chicago Bulls on Friday under new head coach Tyronne Lue. While the team was busy getting slapped around by one of their biggest rivals, Blatt had a pretty good way to get over losing his job.

#DavidBlatt just came back from having lunch at @Cheesecake factory. All smiles. Should've asked him what he had for lunch.

I think if I had just basically been given a paid vacation – Blatt still has $20 million guaranteed on his contract – that is how I would spend my first day off as well.
