Vince Young arrested on DWI charge

Former Texas Longhorns and Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young has fallen pretty hard since being a first round pick in the 2006 NFL Draft. Early Monday morning, he was arrested in Austin for a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated.

The Statesman reported that Young was arrested at approximately 12:46 a.m. Monday morning not far from the Texas campus. He was booked and his bail set at $2,000.

Young led the Longhorns to the 2005 BCS National Championship in the 2006 Rose Bowl and was the third overall pick of the Titans later that year. He spent six seasons in the NFL with the Titans and Philadelphia Eagles.
