Former Texas Tech QB Davis Webb announces transfer to Colorado

The Colorado Buffaloes went 4-9 during the 2015 season and are hoping to get things turned around for 2016. They will likely have to do so without starting quarterback Sefo Liufau, who is expected to miss the season with an injury.

They got big news on Tuesday as former Texas Tech quarterback Davis Webb announced his commitment to the Buffaloes for his final season of eligibility. Webb knew he wanted to transfer after losing his starting job to Patrick Mahomes and Colorado was a big possibility.

During his career with the Red Raiders, Webb threw for 5,557 yards and 49 touchdowns. This could be a very good thing for the Buffaloes in 2016 as they look to get back to a bowl game for the first time since 2007.
