NFL to launch full investigation into Peyton Manning HGH allegations

Just over a month ago, it was alleged that Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning had illegal human growth hormones (HGH) delivered to his home during his time with the Indianapolis Colts and during his recovery from neck and shoulder surgeries.

Despite Manning and his attorney vehemently denying the reports, it was announced early Wednesday morning that the NFL would launch a full investigation into the allegations.

The Associated Press noted that there was “no timetable to complete the investigation”, but it isn’t expected to be finished before the Broncos take on the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 on February 7.

Al Jazeera reported in December that Manning received a shipment of the NFL-banned substance HGH to him home, under his wife Ashley’s name during his time with the Colts.
