Spartans wearing special shoelaces for ‘Princess Lacey’

All this week, basketball programs across the country have been wearing special sneakers and gold shoelaces in honor of Lacey Holsworth, an eight-year-old Michigan State fan, better known as Princess Lacey, who died of cancer in April 2014, and as part of the “Coaches vs Cancer Week.”

The Spartans play the Northwestern Wildcats tonight and they are wearing the gold shoelaces to honor their number one fan.

This is a really cool thing the teams across the country have been doing and I’m sure Princess Lacey is cheering on her Spartans in spirit.
