Aaron Rodgers had arthroscopic knee surgery after loss to Cardinals

Throughout the course of the 2015 NFL season, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers just didn’t seem to be at full strength. Fans may now know the reason behind that as it was reported that he had been dealing with some pain in his knee during the year.

The pain in his knee led to him having arthroscopic surgery, just days after the Packers’ loss to the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Divisional Round. As many would know, Rodgers was listed with a knee injury after taking a low hit from Detroit Lions defensive end Ziggy Ansah in November.

That injury, however, didn’t lead to any missed time in practice as he only missed ten snaps of firs-team reps. The surgery is the reason why Rodgers had to pull out of Sunday’s Pro Bowl.

I guess the injury didn’t hamper him too much the rest of the season as he threw two memorable Hail Mary passes following the hit from Ansah, with the first coming against his Lions.
