The Georgia Southern Eagles have the best recruiting class in the Sun Belt conference and they are looking to get even better over the next few days. National Signing Day is Wednesday and the team hopes they can lock up their best class in program history.
New head coach Tyson Summers has done a great job bringing in big-name recruits over the last month and they are hoping to bring a few more before Wednesday. Underdog Dynasty took a look at the Eagles’ current class, which is ranked at 62nd in the nation.
From the school’s first ever four-star recruit Darion Anderson, who committed to Georgia Southern over Georgia and Kentucky, to three-star players running back Jermany Hawkins and offensive tackle Cade Stewart, this team looks to be one of the best in the Sun Belt in 2016.
The Eagles have won nine games the last two seasons and dominated Bowling Green in the GoDaddy Bowl, their first ever in team history. Summers is bringing a new look to Statesboro and it is honestly for the best.
