NIU shows off White Sox-inspired baseball uniforms

|

When it comes to the major college sports, baseball is usually the one looked over the most simply because a lot of the big talents go straight to the major leagues. Despite that, the athletes that go to college still take it very seriously and on Sunday, the Northern Illinois baseball team was rewarded with some pretty awesome uniforms.

The Chicago White Sox revealed their new spring training uniforms last week and everyone took to them very well. The Huskies were given the blessings of the White Sox to take inspiration for their new uniforms for the upcoming season.

Those are some pretty awesome uniforms. The Huskies have their schedule out, but have not revealed when they will wear their new alternate uniforms.

Unfortunately, the team’s hats will reportedly not go up for sale this year. Bummer.
