There has been some pretty strong indications that Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning will retire after the Super Bowl on Sunday, no matter the outcome. He has been playing in the league since being the number one overall pick in 1998, so it probably wouldn’t be surprising.
However, it seems that one piece of the Broncos’ organization thinks Manning will only retire if they win. Miles, the Broncos’ mascot, “told” TMZ that Manning would retire if they bring home the Lombardi Trophy, but not before he hit “The Worm” to show that he can compete with Cam Newton’s Dab.
Now, fans should only take this with a grain of salt considering that Miles didn’t really say that Manning would be retiring. Maybe he is just a little too excited to see his team go after their first Super Bowl trophy since 1999.
