Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston had one heck of a rookie season with the team this year. He was just recognized for it as he was announced the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year, which is voted on by the fans.
Winston took to Twitter to thank the fans for voting him to the prestigious award.

If you don’t think that Winston deserved to win the award, just take a look at his stats. He threw for 4,042 yards, which is third on the all-time rookie leaders’ list, and 22 touchdowns, while rushing for 210 yards and six scores.
The number one overall pick at the 2015 NFL Draft has certainly proven his worth. He has not only been one of the best rookie players in the NFL, but his attitude has changed tremendously and he has certainly shown that he can led the Bucs to success in the very near future.
