Here’s why Cam Newton walked out of his press conference

After the Super Bowl Sunday night, Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was pretty upset with the way things went. During the post-game press conference, he gave short answers and eventually walked out on the reporters.

Many people started criticizing Newton for being immature, but there now seems to be a good reason why he walked out. One fan shared a video of Newton listening to questions, but in the background, you can hear another person talking about the game, clearly answering questions behind a curtain just next to Newton’s.

The person is clearly talking about how the Denver Broncos’ defense shut down the Panthers. It was later revealed to be Broncos cornerback Chris Harris.

The only question that needs to be answered now is why exactly were these press conferences were right next to each other? We don’t know if Harris could hear Newton talking and started speaking louder, but it’s understandable to see why the MVP quarterback grew even more frustrated than he already was.
