There is no questioning that Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller is one of the best in the NFL right now. He proved his worth to the team on Sunday when he had 2.5 sacks and forced three fumbles against the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 and walked away with the MVP trophy.
Ever since he was selected with the second overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, Miller has been one of the best defensive players in the league. It looks like some NFL Draft experts are trying to determine who could be the “next Von Miller.”
A panel of NFL.com’s experts debated on which player in this year’s NFL Drat could be. None of them agreed whatsoever as they all said different players, but Daniel Jeremiah seemed to have the best opinion.
“I don’t think there’s anyone even remotely close to Von Miller in this draft class. Joey Bosa isn’t nearly that bendy or twitchy. They have totally different body types. Noah Spence is gifted but he’s not as long or as loose of an athlete as Miller.”
Miller has recorded 60 sacks and 210 tackles in five seasons with the Broncos. There is no doubting that it will be tough to compare anyone to someone as talented as him.
