Duke releases awesome video of 1,000th game at Cameron Indoor Stadium

The Duke Blue Devils have had a pretty up and down season this year and are just looking to finish strong so they can get to the NCAA Tournament and defend their national championship.

Monday night, the Blue Devils achieved a pretty big feat at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Duke hosted the No. 13 Louisville Cardinals and ended up upsetting Rick Pitino’s club. This was especially sweet for them as they were playing their 1000th game at their home stadium and they released a video to celebrate it.

Cameron Indoor Stadium opened January 6, 1940 and the team has a 9-1 record in these milestone games, with their only loss being to Clemson in Game 400 on February 25, 1976.

The Blue Devils are currently 18-6 and unranked in the AP poll for the first time in eight years.

If they can catapult off this big win, they should be able to make a big run late in the season. And regardless of what seed they land in the 2016 Big Dance, the Blue Devils will always be a team to watch.
