Earlier this week, USC athletic director Pat Haden announced he would be retiring from his position due to reported health issues. On Wednesday, it was reported that the school was heavily pursuing another school’s athletic director to replace him.
The Trojans were apparently going after current Louisville AD Tom Jurich. According to Fred Cowgill of CBS WLKY in Louisville, Jurich doesn’t have any plans of leaving the school in the near future.

Jurich has for a long time been seen as one of the best athletic directors in the country. He has helped the school make the move into the ACC and has just recently started a fundraising campaign for a $55 million renovation on Papa John’s Cardinals Stadium.
He also brought in Rick Pitino to lead the basketball team, which has obviously turned out to be a great move for the team. He has been in charge since 1998 and it doesn’t look like he is going anywhere anytime soon.
