Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry has been criticized the last year as only being a shooter and not being able to make big-time plays. Despite winning the NBA MVP Award and leading his team to the NBA Championship, people still don’t seem to believe in Curry.
One of those people is surefire Hall of Fame inductee Charles Barkley. He talked with Dime Magazine and gave a pretty harsh criticism of arguably one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, which is all Barkley believes he is.
“He’s just a great shooter,” Barkley told the magazine. “It’s a totally different animal.”
He continued to explain what he meant by calling Curry a “different animal.” He said that Curry is just a great shooter and not much more.
“I wouldn’t say that,” he said. “He’s not a great playmaker. He’s just a great shooter.”
