Philadelphia mayor: Lesean McCoy ‘needs to pay the price’ for alleged attack

On Sunday, former Buffalo Bills running back Lesean McCoy was reportedly involved in an altercation where he attacked two off-duty police officers in a nightclub in his former home of Philadelphia. An arrest has yet to be made as the investigation continues.

It doesn’t look like Philadelphia mayor Jim Kenney is too happy about the situation. He spoke with local reporters and say that he feels McCoy “needs to pay the price” for the alleged attack.

“If he wants to stomp our officers and pound our officers, then he needs to pay the price and answer for his actions,” Mayor Kenney told CBS Philly. “In addition to punches being thrown, there were some kicks that looked as if they were being leveled and that’s unconscionable and it’s cowardly.”

Now, Kenney just sounds like someone who is upset about the reports, but that is all they are right now. However, I wouldn’t expect McCoy to get away scot-free if he is proven to have been involved in this attack.
