Alfonso Ribeiro, Justin Timberlake hit ‘The Carlton’ at Pro-Am again

When you think of popular 1990’s dances, what are some things that come to mind? The Electric Slide? The Macarena? How about Vogueing? While all of those are great, there is likely none more memorable than the one made up by a spoiled rich kid that just didn’t have a clue.

Alfonso Ribeiro, best known for his time as Carlton Banks on “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, has become known for his dance, aptly named “The Carlton”, that he did whenever “It’s Not Unusual” by Tom Jones was played. It is such a popular dance that he did it during his championship run on “Dancing With The Stars” much to the delight of the crowd.

Last July, he and Justin Timberlake, who is equally famous for his dance moves, had fun and did the dance move at the American Century Championship. On Saturday, the two were at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and decided to entertain the crowd with the dance once again.

“Carlton” may be up in age and beginning to grey at the seams, but his dance craze will never get old. No matter how many people try to emulate it, Ribeiro will always be the best at hitting the dance he popularized, but Timberlake did it pretty well too.
