Most of the time, NBA players use college as a stepping stone to get to the big leagues. They are just there for one year, sometimes not even that long, before heading off to the NBA to make millions of dollars.
These players don’t stick around long enough to make memories at their colleges, which sometimes leads to them forgetting where they came from. Miami Heat rookie Justise Winslow is not one of those players and he proved that with his awesome custom socks that feature him during his time with the Duke Blue Devils.
Winslow was instrumental in the Blue Devils’ run to the national championship last year and he is certainly proud of who gave him his opportunity in college. After being a first round pick of the Heat last June, he should be very happy with what Mike Krzyzewski and the Blue Devils helped him do.
Now only if we can get those socks in retail and life would be that much more awesome.
