Su’a Cravens enters Combine training at 238 pounds

The NFL Scouting Combine is a little over a week away and most of the attendees have already started training for the weekend in Indianapolis. One player that is unsure about his position in the NFL is USC’s Su’a Cravens.

He has been listed by some scouts as a safety and by others as an outside linebacker. He took to Twitter and said that he entered his training weighing 238 pounds and then made a Plies reference about how he tried to cut some weight.

If Cravens doesn’t cut enough weight before the Combine next weekend, there’s no doubting that he will be working out as a linebacker, especially at nearly 240 pounds. Either way, if he shows off his skills at the Combine, any team would love to pick him up and play him at either position.

Cravens played as a safety during his career at USC, but last season, he played up a lot more than usual. He recorded 15 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks on the year.
