2016 NFL free agency: Top five tight ends

One position that has probably changed more than any other over the last decade is the tight end position. They used to be mainly used for blocking and short passes for third down conversions.

Now, some of these players have become big parts of teams’ offenses. They can go out and play the slot or come off the line and streak down the middle of the field.

They are very dynamic players and there are a handful of tight ends that can help teams out in 2016, especially since the position isn’t very strong at the NFL Draft. Let’s take a look at the top five free agent tight ends for the 2016 offseason.
